1st Bus Stop Launch New Service Route

This month marks the start of our new DW1 service route - to facilitate student transportation between Dartford’s Home Gardens train station and four prominent grammar schools: Dartford Grammar, Dartford Girls Grammar, Wilmington Grammar School for Boys and Wilmington Grammar School for Girls.

Servicing twice daily runs, transporting students to school during weekday mornings, and returning them to the train station in the afternoons, this new service has been designed to bridge a gap in local transport infrastructure, offering a safe, reliable, and efficient commute for students.

Carrying 90 passengers, our well-maintained double-decker busses are driven by our highly trained and DBS checked team of 1st Bus Stop Drivers, who are very experienced in transporting secondary school students.

Our specialist team of Transport Managers have ensured that a every consideration has been made whilst planning this service’s route optimisation, prioritising punctuality and efficiency along a busy traffic corridor – especially during peak school rush hours.

This service has already proven to be very popular – demonstrating a strong community demand and a positive response to the 1st Bus Stop team’s presence on the route, as we continue to preserve our reputation for providing a reliable, comfortable, and safe journey, earning trust among students and parents.
